Bamby Bread Delivery Trucks, of the Pultar Baking Company, in 1927, at Brookwood (now Drexel) Park

The Pultar Baking Company was situated at 120 North Patterson Street where the very popular “Bamby Bread ” was baked and distributed. Fred Pultar was president and his wife, Esca, was vice president. This photograph was made at Brookwood Park.
Mr. Pultar was also a real estate developer and aviation pioneer. He was involved in the development at Twin Lakes and built the Twin Lakes Tavern on U.S. 41, South. Early in the forefront of aviation in Valdosta , he led in the establishment of the Valdosta Municipal Airport.
