This bobbin lace lamp cover features bobbin and needle lace.
Vertical bobbin lace edging divides the linen fabric into five sections each containing a different needle lace ground sampler within a triangular shape. Hand embroidered eyelets, satin stitched leaves and stems in the stem stitch further decorate the triangular needle lace. Small linen tassels add a finial visual weight and lacy effect to the bottom bobbin lace edging. This is currently on display in the Handmade Lace Exhibit at the museum.
