This Regular Army Dress Jacket made by the Godchaux Company in New Orleans has matching pants. Please note that the back only is made on the French cut. This jacket was probably worn with a belt over it around the waistline. The museum has several uniform belts which belonged to the Faries Collection. Though shoulder bars would have displayed his Colonel ranking they have been removed from this uniform.
