The Lowndes County Historical Museum offers an extensive outdoor exhibit featured behind our building. This space includes a train caboose that is open to explore, a belfry with the historic school bell from the Valdosta Institute which visitors can ring, cane grinding and agricultural items, an old fashioned log transport cart that has been completely restored, a pioneer cabin, as well as original ecosystem and historical garden plants.
